Recipe Challenge
I’m just now learning how to cook things that don’t come out of a box, and it is both easier and more challenging than I thought it would be. My mother always tells me that the best way to learn is to just do it, so this is where you come in. I could sift through 50 cookbooks, and still not have any idea of what to make. Do you have a favorite recipe that your family just loves? Maybe you have a recipe that you think I’d like, or that you’d like to see me test. Heck, maybe you’ve just got a recipe you’d just love to see me attempt!!
Whatever the case may be, use the submission form below to share your recipe with me. I will contact you if I need more information, but try to be as detailed as possible. You can also share recipes by emailing me at jenn[at]jenncooks.com I have several volunteer taste testers ready, though I don’t think they know quite what they’ve volunteered themselves for! It shall be an adventure to say the least. And special thanks to Loretta for letting me swipe her idea!
If I have a good enough response, I hope to incorporate the Recipe Challenge as part of a contest. For kitchen and cooking related prizes, of course! I’m really excited about this part of Jenn Cooks, so I hope you’ll help me out!
Thanks,
Jenn
Disclaimer: As a new cook, my kitchen is sorely lacking in a lot of seemingly basic equipment. If I don’t have all the equipment necessary to make your recipe, I may need to put it on the back burner for awhile. I will not discard any recipes submitted to me, but I may need to hold on to them until I acquire or purchase the necessary items in order to make them!

[…] attempt (so you can laugh at me, you naughty reader!). I’ve put up a submission form on the Recipe Challenge page, so you can submit a recipe to me that way. Just put the recipe ingredients and directions […]

Hey Jenn… I have a recipe for garlic mashed potatoes… but I was wondering if I could email it to you because I originally did it up as a post for my site but then decided I didn’t want to go down that route. But it’s a really good recipe so I thought I would share it with you. Email me and lemme know if you’re interested!
