I love mashed potatoes and that is a great recipe. I have also made mashed potatoes, decreased the quantity of milk/half and half and added some mayonnaise….very tasty.

Hmmmm. Looks delicious, but like you are channeling Julia Child. She was big on the butter.
I aim for the potatoes to be the low-fat part of the meal. I’ll use skim milk, salt, and low fat sour cream on top.

PW seems to have a lot of great recipes but I have a DH with high cholesterol, so there’s precious little I could ever make from her recipes, but they do LOOK good!
