Looking Back at 2008 on Jenn Cooks

I didn’t do nearly as much cooking last year as I wanted to, but I still managed to make a few things. :) Starting a new year tends to make people reflect on the past, and make plans for the future, so I figured it wouldn’t be a bad plan to do the same thing on my blogs as well.

As far as plans for the future, I’d just like to post more often in 2009. This will require me to continue to try new dishes on a consistent basis– an area I’ve struggled with in the past. I have 101 Things in 1001 Days list on my other blog, and one of my goals was to cook 50 things I’ve never made before. I’m partway through that list, but I still have quite a ways to go. I also have a few recipes backlogged that I’ll be trying to get posted over the next several weeks.

As far as the past, below you’ll find a summary of what I’ve made and posted about in the past year. Enjoy!

    Hey Jenn,
Good thing you don’t live next door to me ’cause I’d be knocking. “Hey, Jenn…what did you cook today?” (smile)

    Ack….drool on the keyboard again!!!!

Thanks for requesting an entrecard ad on our blog. Mom got a nasty virus while doing her drops and is going to leave entrecard as soon as her current ads run out. She had to reformat her whole computer and won’t even sign on to the site anymore.

We did subscribe to your blog though, so we will still be stopping by!

Your list reminded me that No Bake Cookies sound really good right now! I’m glad they are so easy to make too!

  8. [...] I started off 2009 looking back at the previous year of cooking. As we embark upon 2010, I thought it would be a fitting way to start this year as well! You can see the Looking Back at 2008 post here. [...]
