Introductions

My name is Jennifer, and I don’t know how to cook. I’m 24 years old, and my mother is constantly shocked by the things that I don’t know how to do. I am attempting to learn though, and that’s what this blog is about. I’ll be chronicling my adventures and misadventures in the kitchen. I’m still figuring out exactly how this is going to work, but I have a few ideas that I’m pretty excited about.
Until recently, my repertoire in the kitchen included tacos, sausage gravy and biscuits, and anything with the directions on the box. I can make a few more things than that now, but that’s not saying a whole lot. I hope you’ll follow along as I attempt to learn my way around the kitchen.

Now that I’ve introduced myself, next step– grocery shopping. Don’t forget to subscribe to my feed– I’m sure you won’t want to miss any of the fun that’s sure to come!

Thank goodness I’m not the only one. I’ll be 22 in October, and I can’t cook at all besides some basic stuff like macaroni, soup, etc….more like warming up then cooking lmao.

When I try to bake it turns out disastrous. I tried baking something a few months ago and I opened the stove to check on it, and all this black smoke came rushing out sounding the fire alarm. It was REALLY bad. My mom starts freaking out at me saying, “Don’t ever use my stove again”. To this day, I haven’t. LOL!

[...] hard to believe, but just a few months ago my friend Jenn confessed that she can’t cook. Nah, it wasn’t hard to believe that she couldn’t cook then – people aren’t born [...]
